Since 1994
Same shop,
new door
32 years of serving Peace Dale and Wakefield, and the counter has not changed hands.
Ethnic Concepts opened in 1994 and has been part of South County ever since. The shop moved to 14 Columbia Street after years at 1237 Kingstown Road, so if you knew us by the old address, we are a few minutes away and the same people are behind the counter.
It has never been only a smoke shop. Glass pipes and water pipes sit alongside vapes, Rhode Island grown CBD, body jewelry, silver, clothing, tapestries, posters, incense and gifts from around the world. Five departments under one roof, which is why people come in for a grinder and leave with a hoodie.
How we sell things
Ask us anything
Staff who know the stock
The industry changes constantly and we keep up with it. Tell us what you are after and we will point you at the thing that fits, not the thing that costs the most.
Tested before it sells
Every CBD product is tested by some of our staff before it goes on the shelf, and we have long relationships with the farms and vendors behind them.
Local glass, imported glass
Imported pieces by the wall and hand blown work from glassblowers down the road, including one off pieces you will not see twice.
